India: Buyers book over 200,000 t of iron ore from NMDC's Kumaraswamy auction
NMDC had conducted an iron ore auction on 16 Dec'23 from its Kumaraswamy mines.
- 152,000 t of fines (Fe 56.31-63.71%) booked at INR 2,576-5,470/t against base price of INR 2,576-3,850/t
- 88,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 60.34-63.42%) booked at INR 4,349-6,125/t against base price of INR 3,479-4,045/t.
- Bid prices for fines & lumps went up by INR 1,620/t and INR 2,080/t, respectively. Prices are inclusive of taxes.
