India: Buyers book 50,000 t of iron ore tailings from BRPL's auction
BRPL had two auctions of 50,000 t iron ore tailings and 10,000 t of pellet chips on 20 Dec'23, according to sources.
- 50,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 51-54%) got booked at INR 1,510/t against the base price of INR 1,500/t.
- However, iron ore pellet chips (Fe 63%) auction failed to fetch response.
- Price for tailings is on ex-plot/loaded into truck basis.
