India: Bid prices increase at SAIL-RSP's pig iron auction despite active response

SAIL's Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) held an auction for 1,500 t of steel-grade pig iron on 16 Dec'23. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 37,300/t exw. Bid prices increased from the last auction held on 7 Dec. In the previous auction, 2,000 t of material of similar grade was booked at an average price of INR 35,800/t exw.
