India: Bid prices fall m-o-m in OMC's chrome ore auction
OMC sold 65,700 t of chrome ore from the South Kaliapani and Sukrangi mines at auction held on 20 July'24. Bid prices, except for the 54+ grades, decreased by INR 388-3,085/t (3%-14%) compared to the June '24 auction, due to declining ferro chrome prices over the last month. However, the auction still achieved premiums of INR 100-16,600/t (1%-77%) above the floor prices.
