India: Base price in NMDC Nagarnar's pig iron auction falls by INR 2,000/t
On 21 Nov'24, NMDC's Nagarnar steel plant conducted an auction for 32,000 t of steel-grade pig iron at a base price of INR 31,500/t. The base price was INR 2,000/t lower compared to the previous auction held on 18 Nov.However, only 4,000 t were booked on 21 Nov at an average price of INR 31,500/t. In the 18 Nov auction, no bids were received at a base price of INR 33,500/t.
