Global aluminium production in Nov'24 dips 3% m-o-m but rises 2.5% y-o-y: IAI

Global aluminium production reached 6.04 mnt in Nov'24, a 3% decrease from October's 6.231 mnt, according to latest data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI). However, y-o-y, output increased by 2.5% from 5.89 mnt in Nov'23. China's aluminium production was 3.6 mnt, down 3.2% from the previous month. Total global aluminium output in 11MCY'24 reached 66.3 mnt, up 3% y-o-y from 64.18 mnt in the same period of 2023.
