Europe: ArcelorMittal hikes HRC prices by EUR 30/t ($31/t)
ArcelorMittal - the top steel producer in Europe - has announced a hike in HRC prices by around EUR 30/t ($31/t) for Feb-Mar'25 deliveries. Post revision, effective prices are at EUR 630/t ($656/t) ex-works. The company has raised prices citing stronger apparent demand from the automotive industry. Moreover, recent restocking activities have led to an increase in orders for mills.
