China's ferrous scrap imports rise m-o-m in Nov'23

China's scrap imports jumped to 17,475 t in Nov'23, an increase of 19% from 14,683 t in the previous month. However, imports dropped by a whopping 78% from 77,820 t in the same period last year. Japan and South Korea emerged as the top exporters at 10,630 t and 3,173 t, respectively. In Jan-Nov'23, imports aggregated to 0.19 mnt - plummeted by 52% as against 0.40 mnt in the CPLY.
