China: Tshipi reduces manganese ore offers for Jan'24 shipments
Tshipi, the world's largest manganese ore miner, has decreased its South African manganese ore lumps (Mn 36.5%) offers by $0.05/dmtu to $3.5/dmtu on a CIF China basis for Jan'24 shipments. Due to a 20-30% reduction in production in China of manganese alloys and electricity supply issues during the dry season, the miner has decided to lower its offers.
