China: Steel billet prices remain stable d-o-d
- Billet prices in Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,610/t ($509/t) on 19 Dec'23. Prices include 13% VAT.
- Extreme cold conditions in China kept the physical trade market slow.
- However, SHFE rebar futures (May'24 delivery) inched down d-o-d by RMB 8/t ($1/t) to RMB 3,925/t ($554/t) today.
