China: Shanxi Coking Coal Group faces summons amidst recent incidents
China's Shanxi Coking Coal Group, the largest steelmaking coal producer, has been summoned by provincial authorities on 18 Dec'23, amid safety concerns. Multiple recent incidents, including fatalities, have prompted safety checks. The company plans to produce 42.05 mnt of raw coal and 18.5 mnt of washed coking coal in CY'23.
