China: raw coal output rises 4.6% y-o-y in Oct'24 - NBS

China produced 411.8 mnt of raw coal in Oct'24, up 4.6% y-o-y but down 0.6% m-o-m, as stricter safety inspections curbed production, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Daily output averaged 13.28 mnt, slightly below September's 13.82 mnt. For Jan-Oct'24, coal output reached 3.89 billion tonnes, a 1.2% increase y-o-y.
