China: Coal imports surge 28.5% y-o-y in Oct'24

China's coal imports were recorded at 46.25 mnt in Oct'24, up 28.5% as compared to 35.99 mnt in Oct'23, according to data from the General Administration of Customs (GAC).In Jan-Oct'24, imports were up by 13.5% y-o-y to 435.37 mnt.
