Australia: Coking coal prices plunge by nearly $14/t amid low buying interest
Australian premium hard coking coal prices plunged by $13.5/t d-o-d to $320/t FOB on 14 Dec'23 amid low buying interest. The decline was attributed to the absence of urgent requirements from coking coal end-users in Asia and China. Additionally, lower buying interest was observed due to reduced offer levels by suppliers for Dec'23 loading cargoes.
