Adani Krishnapatnam Port declares force majeure addendum
Adani Krishnapatnam Port implemented a force majeure addendum starting from 18 December, 2023. The force majeure was initially declared on 8 December, 2023, in response to Cyclone Michaung. The accumulation of excessive water in catchment areas, causing additional mud in the channel, is causing delays in the resumption of port operations. Both inward and outward vessel movements are currently suspended, with no specific timeframe for the return to normalcy.
