National Entrepreneurship Award
SteelMint bags the National Entrepreneurship Award, BY MSDE, GoI
The Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship (Govt of India) awarded Raipur (Chhattisgarh) based SteelMint Info Services LLP with National Entrepreneurship Award, 2018 under A3 category, Award Sector Logistics, transports, e-commerce & other services at Dr. Ambedkar International centre, New Delhi on January 4, 2019. The company was also awarded a cash prize of INR 5 lakh.
The award was received by the directors – Dhruv Goel, Sumit Agarwal, Tarun Goel from Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of Commerce & lndustry and Civil Aviation, Sri Suresh Prabhu in the presence of prominent entrepreneurs, senior government officials, and various industrialist from across the country.
Upon receiving the prestigious award, Dhruv Goel one of the director of the company said “We thank Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship and government of India for this recognition. We appreciate their efforts to nurture entrepreneurship. SteelMint primary objective is to help people make more informed and data-driven decisions. Our endeavor is to transform data from its unstructured, raw form into clear, meaningful information and actionable insights using technology”.
SteelMint Info Services was founded in 2010 with the sole purpose for market intelligence in the Iron and Steel Sector; it organizes the data from unorganized sectors and helps the clients to take informed decisions. Their other business verticals are- SteelMint Events, Steel360 Magazine, CoalMint, Plant Bee (e-commerce) & SteelVia.
The National Entrepreneurship Awards is hosted by Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship to honors the young entrepreneurs for their outstanding efforts in entrepreneurship and development. To be eligible for these awards, the nominee must be under the age of 40 years; he/she must be a first-generation entrepreneur and must hold 51 percent or more equity and ownership of the business.
The award was awarded after a three-level assessment methodology backed by detailed study of the nominated companies, based on actual market parameters and performance indicators. Finally, a jury panel represented by eminent leaders and industry experts has collectively assessed the results of these evaluations to select outstanding awardees.
