World Crude Steel Output Scaled up 6% Y-o-Y in Oct'17

According to the recent data released by World Steel Association (WSA),the total crude steel production of 66 steel manufacturing countries jumped by 6% Y-o-Y basis to 145.25 MnT in Oct'17 in comparison to 137.21 MnT in Oct'16.
On monthly basis also country's crude steel output witness the rise of 3% to 145.25 MnT in Oct'17 from 141.58 MnT Sep'17.
During first ten months of (Jan-Oct) of CY17 world crude steel output summed up to 1410.52 MnT higher by 5.6% against 1,335.46 MnT in similar time frame of previous year.

China's crude steel output increased by 6% Y-o-Y basis in Oct'17-China's crude steel output increased by 6% ,Y-o-Y to 72.36 MnT in Oct'17 against 68.22 MnT in Oct'16.On monthly basis,China's crude steel production increased slightly by 0.7% in Oct'17 as compared to 71.83 MnT in Sep'17.
From Jan-Oct'17 nation's crude steel output surged by 6.1% to 709.50 MnT against 668.45 in similar time fame of previous year.
Japan's crude steel production up by 4% M-o-M in Oct'17 - In Oct'17 nation's crude steel moved up by 2%,Y-o-Y basis to 8.97 MnT in Oct'17 against 9.06 MnT in Oct'16. However on M-o-M basis,Japan's crude steel production rose by 4% compared to 8.63 MnT in Sep'17.
In time span of Jan-Oct of CY17 nation's crude steel output fell slightly by 0.2% to 87.23 MnT against 87.44 MnT in similar time fame of previous year.
India's crude steel output jumped by 5%Y-o-Y in Oct'17 - According to data released by World Steel Association,India's crude steel output stood at 8.63 MnT,jumped by 5% in Oct'17 against 8.19 MnT in Oct'16.However on monthly basis India's crude steel output rose by 3% in Oct'17 which was at 8.4 MnT in Sep'17.
In first ten months of CY17 Indian crude steel output rose significantly by 6.3% to 84.12 MnT against 79.07 MnT in similar time fame of previous year.
South Korea crude steel output 4% Y-o-Y basis in Oct'17-South Korea's crude steel production was recorded at 6.22 MnT rises by 4%,Y-o-Y basis in Oct'17 against 5.96 MnT in Oct'16.On monthly basis,South Korea crude steel output rose by 6% in Oct'17 against 5.88 MnT in Sep'17.
So far in CY17 till Oct'17 nation's crude steel output increased by 3.6% to 59.14 MnT against 57.05 MnT in similar time fame of previous year.
However,crude steel production of other top steel producing countries in month of Oct'17 are as follows United States: 6.9 MnT (up 11% Y-o-Y), Russia: 6.22 MnT (up by 5%Y-o-Y) and Brazil: 3.04 MnT (up 4% Y-o-Y).
