Vietnam: Imported HRC Offers Resume Post Holidays

The imported HRC offers to Vietnam witnessed marginal decline this week post resumption of activities on Labor Day and Golden week holidays. However trades are yet to pick up.

"Market is very slow and quiet due to limited inquiries from importers for June shipments" shared a market source in Vietnam.

Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam:

-- HRC (SAE 1006, 2mm), China- Benxi Steel is offering at USD 405/MT CFR basis. Before holidays, offers were hovering at USD 408-410/MT CFR basis.

-- HRC (SAE 1006, 2mm), South Korea- Hyundai Steel's offers stood at USD 410/MT CFR basis. Before this, the offers stood at USD 415/MT CFR basis.

-- HRC (SAE 1006, 2mm), India- Indian steel mills are still offering at USD 388-390/MT CFR basis. Before this, the offers were at USD 390-395/MT CFR basis.

-- HRC (SAE 1006, 2mm), Russia- MMK is continuing to offer at USD 388-390/MT CFR basis.
