Vietnam: Formosa Increases Billet Offers by USD 8/MT

Formosa Ha Tinh Corporation (FHS), Vietnam's largest steel manufacturer of the country has revealed its billet offers for Mar'20 shipments. The price offered for billet by the company is reported to be USD 428/MT, CIF North Vietnam and that to for South Vietnam is reported to be USD 433/MT, CIF, up by USD 8/MT, against last month.

The company'shot strip mill division is under shutdown in for 20 days during 30th Dec'19 to 17th Jan'20. The estimated impact of the shutdown on production comes around 35%,
