USA Flat Steel Export Rises 11% M-o-M in Jan'18

USA is the world's sixth largest steel exporter has reported surge in flat steel export volumes by 11% M-o-M in Jan'18. Major importing nations were Mexico and Canada in Jan'18.
According to latest customs data, USA flat steel exports which includes (7208 HR coils/Plates,7209 CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets registered an increase of 11%M-o-M basis in Jan'18 against Dec'17.
The country has exported 0.42 MnT of flat steel in Jan'18 against 0.38 MnT in Dec'17.
On yearly premise,flat steel export witness marginal decline of 2.3% in Jan'18 which was 0.43 MnT in Jan'17.

Country-Wise USA flat steel exports in Jan'18 - In Jan'18,Canada was the major flat steel importer from USA and has procured 0.21 MnT ,occupied the largest share of 52% in Jan'18.
Second largest importer of flat steel from USA was Mexico with 0.18 MnT, accounting for 43.16% share.
