Manganese ore imports rise 35% m-o-m in Oct'23

• Manganese ore imports rose 35% m-o-m in October 2023 to 40,526 t which was 29,929 t in September 2023.
  
  
• Gabon stood as the key exporter in October 2023 to 40,130 t.
  
  
• However, imports y-o-y declined by 63% to 181,952 t in January-October 2023 as against 489,397 t in the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
  
  

Manganese alloys import increase by 67% m-o-m in Oct'23

• Manganese alloys imports in the US saw an uptick by 67% m-o-m in October 2023 to 81,541 t as against 48,727 t in September 2023.
  
  
• Silico Manganese imports down 6% m-o-m in October 2023 to 29,853 t as compared to 31,920 t in September 2023.
  
  
• Meanwhile, ferro manganese imports up by 208% m-o-m in October 2023 to 51,688 t which was 16,807 t in September 2023.
