Russian missile strikes: Because of the missile strikes that caused power outages and disrupted the supply of raw materials, affecting the industry's operations, the first quarter of 2023, Ukrainian ferroalloy producers reduced their production by 2.7 times compared to the same period in the previous year.
Power outage effect: The Pobuzhsky Ferronickel Plant, had to shut down because of the power outages. Additionally, the company relies on imported raw materials, which were also affected by the port blockade.
