Turkey Finished Steel Exports Surge in July 2019

Turkey Finish long and Flat steel exports rose in Jul'19, as per custom data maintained with SteelMint.

Finish Long Steel- The nation's finish long steel export is registered at 0.9 MnT in Jul'19, surged by 36.36% against 0.66 MnT in Jun'19.

Also on yearly basis, exports moved up by 32.35% in Jul'19 compared to 0.68 MnT in Jul'18.

Factors could be attributed towards surge in exports is better demand from Israel which sourcing grew by 143% M-o-M basis amid recent approval from government for home construction near to west bank.

Commodity wise - Rebar export is registered at 0.71 MnT in jul'19, enlarged by 44.89% against 0.49 MnT in Jun'19 followed by Structure(Angle/Channel) stood at 0.16 MnT in Jul'19(+6.67%) against 0.15 MnT in Jun'19 and wire rod exports enlarged by 50% to 0.03 MnT in Jul'19 against 0.02 MnT in Jun'19.

Unload Country wise- Israel stood as top importer of finish long steel from Turkey on monthly basis and surged by 142.85% to 0.17 MnT in Jul'19 against 0.07 MnT in Jun'19 followed by Singapore - 0.12 MnT in Jul'19 (+20%) compared to 0.10 MnT in Jun'19 and Yemen 0.05 MnT in Jul'19 (+150%) against 0.02 MnT in Jun'19.

Finish Flat Steel- Turkey's finish flat exports surged by 29% in Jul'19 to 0.62 MnT compared to 0.48 MnT in preceding month. Whereas on yearly basis exports down by 15.06% in Jul'19 against 0.73 MnT in Jul'18.
