Taiwan's finished steel export log in Jul'19 is as follows:
1. Taiwan's finish long exports were slashed by around 25% on monthly and 26% on a yearly premise in Jul'19.
2. The nation's total finish flat exports in Jul'19 declined by 17% on a monthly basis however the same fell by 18% on a yearly basis in Jul'19.
Prolonged US-China trade feud has weakened the global market sentiments. Thus, as per data maintained with SteelMint, Taiwan's finish flat exports to its major importer Vietnam (16% of total exports share) declined by 31% M-o-M basis to 1,11,157 MT in Jul'19 over, 1,60,240 MT in Jun'18.
This major decline in the nation's finish flat export came in line with Vietnamese buyers preferring Indian origin HRC as compared to Chinese and Taiwanese origin over competitive offers.
3. The nation's finish flat stainless steel exports witnessed a marginal decline of 4% on a monthly basis however tumbled by 12% Y-o-Y in Jul'19.
