Taiwan: CSC Reports 8% M-o-M Decline in Steel Sales in Jan'20

Taiwan's leading steelplayer China Steel Corporation has announced its preliminary results for the first month of CY20. The company reported 8% M-o-M decrease in its sales volumes of carbon steel for the month of Jan.

The company's sales volume of carbon steel in Jan'20 were totaled 811,988 MT, with 68% of domestic sales, down by 8% with 70,836 MT as against 882,824 MT in Dec'19.

China Steel Corporation (CSC), located at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was founded in 1971. With annual production (in terms of crude steel) around 10 MnT, CSC produces a range of products including plates, bars, wire rods, hot and cold rolled coils, electrogalvanized coils, electrical steel coils, hot-dip galvanized coils, and Ti/Ni-base alloy.
