Sundaram Clayton launches new aluminium die-casting facility in Tamil Nadu

Sundaram Clayton Limited, a member of the $6.5 billion TVS Group, has officially launched its new aluminium die-casting facility in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu, India. The plant, situated in the SIPCOT industrial area, has an initial annual production capacity of 7,750 tonnes (t).

The company has announced the commencement of commercial production at the facility and will provide updates on its progress and any future capacity expansions.

In a regulatory filing, Sundaram Clayton stated: "We wish to inform that the Company has commenced the commercial production of aluminium die castings effective today at the SIPCOT industrial area in Thervoy Kandigai, Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu."

As one of India's largest auto components manufacturers and distributors, Sundaram Clayton is a major supplier of aluminium die castings to both the automotive and non-automotive industries.
