SteelMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 5 Jan'24

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, fell by INR 100/t to INR 10,000/t DAP Raipur on 5 January 2024 compared to the last assessment on 2 January 2023. A deal of 2,000 t was reported at INR 10,050/t DAP Raipur in this publishing window.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index fell by INR 400/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 37,600/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 5 January, 2024.

SteelMint's billet index inched down by INR 150/t to INR 40,500/t exw-Raipur on 5 January, 2024. About 1,200 t of transactions were recorded on 5 January as against 2,920 t on 4 January.
