SteelMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index remained stable at INR 5,500/t ex-mines on 30 December, 2023.

On 30 December, 2023, SteelMint reported a d-o-d increase of INR 300/t in its domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index, reaching INR 37,500/t DAP in Mandi Gobindgarh.

SteelMint's billet index rose by INR 350/t to INR 39,900/tonne (t) exw-Raipur on 30 December, 2023. Transactions of around 2,800 t of billet deals were concluded on 30 December compared to 2,600 t on 29 December
