SteelMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 26 Oct'23

India's sponge iron market witnessed a rise in prices today ranging from INR 50-300/t in some principal locations. About 19,050 tonnes (t) of transactions were recorded on 26 October across the country as against 21,500 t recorded on 25 October.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index rose by INR 400/t d-o-d to INR 38,100/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 26 October, 2023.

SteelMint's billet index rose by INR 150/t on 26 October, 2023 to INR 41,850/t exw-Raipur due to increased buying in the semi-finished steel market and higher trade volumes.
