SteelMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 16 Jan'24

SteelMint"s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, dropped by INR 100/t to INR 9,750/t DAP Raipur on 16 January 2024 compared to the last assessment on 12 January 2024.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index remained stable on 16 January, 2024, at INR 37,600/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh. The Mandi market saw limited demand for semis and finished steel, with no major trade activity.

SteelMint's billet index dropped by INR 200/t to INR 39,650/t exw-Raipur on 16 January, 2024. The index fell marginally, owing to low semi-finished material bookings. About 1,750 t of transactions were recorded on 16 January as against 2,700 t on 15 January.
