Domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index fell by INR 200/t d-o-d to INR 38,300/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 13 December, 2023.
Sponge iron prices fell by INR 100-500/tonne (t) in key locations across India on 13 December, 2023. About 10,610 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 13 December compared to 14,150 on 12 December.
SteelMint's billet index edged down by INR 150/t (t) to INR 40,700/t exw-Raipur on 13 December, 2023. About 1,600 t of billet deals were concluded on 13 December compared to 1,600 t on 12 December.
