SteelMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 12 Jan'24

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, dropped by INR 150/t to INR 9,850/t DAP Raipur on 12 January 2024 compared to the last assessment on 9 January 2024.

SteelMint's index for domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) remained stable on 12 January, 2024 at INR 37,600/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh.

SteelMint's billet index showed an improvement of INR 250/tonne (t), reaching INR 40,000/t exw-Raipur on 12 January 2024. This resulted in a few concluded deals in the semi-finished segment at higher prices, totaling about 2,750 t on 12 January as compared to 2,870 t on 11 January.
