SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 6 Oct'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, decreased by INR 200/t to INR 10,100/tonne (t) DAP Raipur on 6 October, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 3 October, 2023. Two deals of 13,000 t have been reported at INR 9,300-10,300/t DAP Raipur.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index remained unchanged d-o-d at INR 40,400/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 6 October 2023.

Sponge iron prices in India rose in the range of INR 100-700/tonne (t) in key locations, with suppliers quoting higher offers. About 10,660 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded on 6 October compared to 27,120 t on 5 October.
