SteelMint's index for Fe 63% concentrate prices currently stands at around INR 2,950/tonne (t) exw on 6 October, down INR 100/t as against the last assessment on 1 October, 2022.

SteelMint's daily steel billet index was assessed at INR 48,700/tonne (t) (+ INR 350) exw-Raipur on 6 October, 2022. SteelMint recorded a total of 6,150 t of billet deals in Raipur on 6 October as against 2,700 t on 4 October. Enhanced spot trading along with improved demand for billet in Raipur which was driven by the drying up of raw material inventories with a few major re-rollers.
