SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index moved up by INR 200/t d-o-d to INR 41,900/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 29 June, 2023.

SteelMint's billet index fell slightly by INR 100/tonne (t) on June 29, 2023 to INR 43,100/t exw-Raipur. The daily trading volume edged up as a result of greater buying activity at lower offers. Transactions of 3,710 t were recorded on 29 June in Raipur as against 3,200 t on 28 June.

SteelMint's weekly India low-grade iron ore fines (Fe 57%) export index remained stable w-o-w at $65/tonne (t) FOB east coast, as assessed on 29 June, 2023.
