SteelMint's Daily Trade Sheet - 25 Oct'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly index for Fe 63% concentrate currently stands at INR 4,500/tonne (t) exw, stable as against the last assessment on 21 October, 2023. Iron ore concentrate prices in Jabalpur, central India, remained stable this week.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index edged up by INR 100/t to INR 37,700/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 25 October, 2023. In Mandi, the scrap market observed a fair level of trading activity.

SteelMint's India pellet (Fe 63%, 3% Al) export (FOB east coast) index inched up by $0.5/t w-o-w to $116/t on 25 October, 2023. The index was recorded at a seven-month high, with current price levels last seen towards the mid of March 2023.
