SteelMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index increased by INR 350/t w-o-w to INR 5,300/t ex-mines on 23 September, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 16 September.

Indian sponge iron prices declining in the range of INR 50-500/t d-o-d on 23 September, 2023 in major markets. About 10,210 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded on 23 September compared to 12,090 t on 22 September.

SteelMint's billet index fell by INR 150/tonne (t) on 23 September, 2023 to INR 43,800/t exw-Raipur. Approximately 2,360 t of billet deals were concluded on 23 September compared to 2,160 t on 22 September.
