SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 22 Jul'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, remained stable at INR 8,950/t DAP Raipur on 21 July, 2023 as compared to the last assessment on 18 July. Deals of around 27,500 t were recorded at INR 9,000-9,350/t (Fe 63/63.5%) DAP in this publishing window.

Indian sponge iron prices have experienced a modest increase on 21 July, ranging from INR 50-400/t in certain key locations, despite subdued demand.Transactions for around 12,400 t of sponge iron were recorded on 21 July, a decrease from the 18,850 t recorded on July 20

SteelMint's billet index inched up INR 100/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 40,600/t exw-Raipur on 21 July, 2023.Transactions for 2,000 t were recorded as against 4,410 t on 20 July.
