SteelMint's index for Fe 63% concentrate currently stands at INR 3,800/tonne (t) exw, down by INR 100/t w-o-w. The index has fallen to nearly seven months' low, as these levels were last seen in end-December 2022, as per data maintained with us.

SteelMint's India pellet (Fe 63%, 3% Al) export index FOB east coast remained stable w-o-w at $107/t on 19 July, 2023. A total of six deals of around 370,000 t were concluded from India in the past one week, as per data recorded by SteelMint

SteelMint's billet index fell by INR 350/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 40,750/t exw-Raipur on 19 July, 2023.Weak buying activity weighed on the index today, and lower bids pushed sellers to reduce their offers.Transactions for 2,460 t were recorded on 19 July as against 2,400 t on 18 July.
