SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, remained unchanged at INR 10,000/tonne (t) DAP Raipur on 17 October, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 13 October. Deals of 10,000 t (Fe63.5%) were recorded at INR 10,450/t DAP Raipur in this publishing window.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index dipped by INR 300/t to INR 39,000/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 17 Oct, 2023.

SteelMint's billet index declined by INR 400/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 42,250/t exw-Raipur on 17 October, 2023.About 2,100 t trades in billet were recorded on 17 October as against 1,500 t on 16 October.
