SteelMint's daily steel billet index edged down by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 45,950/t on 15 April, 2023. The drop in the index was due to decreasing bids and limited bookings. Around 1,700 t of billets were traded in Raipur on 15 April as against 4,050 t on 14 April.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index remained stable at INR 43,500/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 15 April, 2023.

SteelMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index remained stable at INR 5,700/t ex-mines, as assessed on 15 April, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 7 April, 2023
