SteelMint's index for Fe 63% concentrate currently stands at INR 4,500/t exw, stable on 14 June as against the last assessment on 10 June, 2023. Iron ore concentrate prices in Jabalpur, central India, remained stable this week.

Sponge iron prices in India fell by INR 50-350/t in key locations due to weak sentiments in the spot market. About 6,920 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded on 14 June in India as against 18,070 t on 13 June.

SteelMint's India pellet (Fe 63%, 3% Al) export index FOB east coast rose by $4/t w-o-w to $110/tonne (t) on 14 June 2023 amid positive sentiments in the market.

Indian ferro molybdenum prices inched down by INR 100,000/t w-o-w and were hovering at INR 2,550,000-2,700,000/t exw-Nagpur on 60% pro rata basis, as per SteelMint's assessment.
