SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 14 Aug'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, increased by INR 100/t to INR 9,150/tonne (t) DAP Raipur on 14 August, 2023 as compared to the last assessment on 11 August. A deal of 17,000 t was recorded at INR 8,950- 9,100/t DAP in this publishing window.

Sponge iron prices in some key locations of India fell further by INR 50-250/tonne (t) on 14 August, 2023. About 22,205 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 14 August compared to 1,140 t recorded on 12 August.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index remained stable d-o-d at INR 40,500/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 14 August, 2023.
