SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index fell by INR 250/tonne (t) to INR 44,750/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 13 October, 2022. Steel ingots prices in Mandi saw a marginal correction of INR 200/t d-o-d.

SteelMint's daily steel billet index was assessed at INR 47,750/tonne (t) (- INR 400/t) exw-Raipur on 13 October, 2022. The index remained down on account of lower bids following measured finished steel sales. About 3,600 t of spot billets trades were recorded on 13 October as against 2,550 t on 12 October.
