SteelMint's price assessment of Fe 63% concentrate stands at around INR 2,950/tonne (t) exw on 12 October, stable as against the last assessment on 8 October. Iron ore concentrate prices in Jabalpur, central India, remained rangebound this week amid stability in iron ore prices post NMDC's price revision for October month.

SteelMint's daily steel billet index was assessed at INR 48,150/tonne (t) (- INR 200/t) exw-Raipur on 12 October, 2022. The index fell further on account of weak demand following dull finished steel sales. SteelMint recorded about 2,550 t of trades on 12 October as against 2,450 t on 11 October.
