SteelMint's weekly Odisha iron ore fines (Fe 62%) index remained stable at INR 4,200/t ex-mines on 12 August, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 5 August. No deal was recorded in this publishing window.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index dipped INR 300/t d-o-d to INR 40,500/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 12 August, 2023. In Mandi, scrap prices fell by INR 400/t w-o-w as semis prices dropped INR 400/t w-o-w.

SteelMint's billet index fell by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 41,650/t exw-Raipur on 12 August, 2023. Transactions for 700 t were recorded 12 August as against 1,500 t on 11 August.
