SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 11 Jul'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, remained stable w-o-w at INR 9,000/tonne (t) DAP Raipur on 11 July, 2023 as compared to the last assessment on 7 July. Deals of around 20,000 t were recorded at INR 8,950/t (Fe 63/63.5%) DAP Raipur.

SteelMint's billet index dipped by INR 300/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 41,350/t exw-Raipur on 11 July, 2023. The index was weighed down by lower bids, putting pressure on sellers to reduce offers. Around 6,300 t of billet deals were recorded on 11 July compared to 2,500 t on 10 July.

SteelMint's India HRC (SAE1006) export index remained range-bound w-o-w at $570-575/tonne (t) FOB east coast India.
