SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 02 Sept'23

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index decreased by INR 200/t d-o-d to INR 42,000/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 2 September, 2023.

Indian sponge iron prices fell, with prices ranging from INR 100-250/t d-o-d in major locations. Transactions for around 2,600 t of sponge iron were recorded on 2 september as compared to 16,100 t on 1 September.

SteelMint's billet index edged down by INR 50/tonne (t) to INR 45,150/t exw-Raipur on 2 September, 2023. About 2,150 t of billet deals were concluded compared to 2,200 t on 1 September.
