SteelMint Daily Trade Sheet - 01 Sept'23

SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, increased by INR 100/tonne (t) to INR 10,000/t DAP Raipur on 1 September, 2023 as compared to the last assessment on 29 August. Deals of 7,000 tonnes (t) were reported in this publishing window.

Indian sponge iron prices rose in the range of INR 50-200/t in key locations on 1 September on moderate spot trading. Approximately 16,100 t were transacted on 1 September, 2023 as against 15,750 t recorded on 31 August.

SteelMint's billet index edged down by INR 100/tonne (t) to INR 45,200/t exw-Raipur on 1 September, 2023.

SteelMint's domestic steel scrap (end-cutting) index fell by INR 200/t d-o-d to INR 42,200/t DAP Mandi Gobindgarh on 1 Sept, 2023.
