South Korea: Scrap iron arrivals surpass half of special steel plate imports
...
- Gunsan Port sees highest arrivals this week at 13,000 t
- Special steel plate companies make for 62.5% of imports
SteelDaily: South Korea's major ports reported the arrival of 40,000 tonnes (t) of fresh ferrous scrap this week. The volume of scrap imports has now exceeded half the amount of special steel plates being imported.
Additionally, special steel plate companies accounted for 62.5% of the total import volume. The share of these companies was high, likely due to the lack of steel scrap imports by Dongkuk Steel and at Masan Port.

- SeAH Besteel - 13,000 t at Gunsan Port (highest w-o-w).
